Japan 可愛い: Adorable teacup balconies in Asakusa

For those times when you want to drink tea in a teacup outside in a teacup. Check out these adorable teacup balconies on the Niimi building in Asakusa, Tokyo.

The Niimi buildings are part of a long street that houses restaurant and kitchen supply stores.

Across the street is another Niimi building, this time with a gigantic chef resting atop it's roof.

What do you think of these fantastic and colourful little balconies? Would you want one on your house/apartment?

Personal note: When Ryan and I first came to Japan back in January, we stayed in a hotel very close to this intersection. I remember being amazed finally seeing something in person I had only seen online and hoped to view one day.
