Today I tried out a new flavour of Pino Ice Cream made by the Morinaga Company. Pino Ice is a chunk of ice cream slightly bigger than the size of a rolo chocolate that is covered in delicious milk chocolate. They have several flavours, one of which is their newest flavour: Rouge Berry.
Pino: Rouge Berry is a blueberry, raspberry, and black currant flavoured gelato coated with raspberry flavoured chocolate. Isn't it just dreamy?
Here are a few shots of my experience with Rouge Berry Pino in the real life wilds:
The box. What a beaut! |
6 delicious pods in a pack, complete with golden eating tool. |
It was a warm day, these guys frosted up in no time. |
The delicious insides... can't say that often without sounding creepy. |
The gelato flavour was very strong, and with the raspberry chocolate flavour mixed in, it tasted a bit like a red creamsicle. Not quite enough chocolate flavour for me, but it's definitely a good choice for anyone who loves raspberry, gelato, or taking frustration out by poking things with a small stick.
Have you tried this flavour of Pino before? Would you?
